Situation

The context behind the work.

An existing infrastructure platform needed to expand from appliance management into Kubernetes. Customers needed to use enterprise appliances as cluster nodes and centrally manage clusters, workloads, services, and rapidly changing operational states.

Task

The problem I was responsible for.

Design and implement the core Kubernetes management UI, including end-to-end workflows for clusters, nodes, workloads, horizontal pod autoscaling, and persistent volumes, while keeping it familiar to existing users.

Action & Result

From system behavior
to product experience.

Action

Centralized shared application state with Redux and React Context.
Optimized API data flow for high-volume, frequently changing infrastructure states.
Reused the enterprise design system and composable UI architecture to maintain cross-product consistency.
Modularized features with permission-based visibility control for different user roles.

Result

Delivered the core Kubernetes management workflows from resource overview to operational action.
Maintained page performance while supporting dynamic state updates.
Created reusable, permission-aware modules and a consistent experience across appliance and Kubernetes management.
